Pillars of strength
Huge funds are required to provide all these facilities to more than 150 children. As Govt. grants are insufficient, continuous efforts are put in, to raise funds through donations. Some of these philanthropist supporters are Blue Cross Pharmaceuticals, Mylan Inc., Atlas Copco, Apex International, Rotary Club, Mahindra and Mahindra Employee’s Credit Co-op. Society, Mahindra and Mahindra Ltd. and many other individual well wishers.
A special mention - Late Shri. Baloba Bhalekar, a street hawker, who saved from his meager earnings and donated Rs. 1 Lakh to the Ashram.
